Woodlands Manor House (Part 1)

An original very early issue of Country Life Magazine dated May 10th 1924 featuring a main article on Woodlands Manor in Wiltshire, The Home of the Rev. F. Meyrick-Jones, 7 page write up with black and white illustrations of the house and gardens. Country Life Magazine commenced publication in 1897 and these early issues have become highly collectable and a valuable reference to the house owners of today, architects, restorers, renovators and anyone interested in the history of the building. They have an extensive write up with pictures of the building (interior and exterior) and garden as it was at that time. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of H.M. The King from a painting by Charles Sims, R.A in the Exhibition o the Royal Acadamy.
