Country Life magazine 1897-1940
Country Life magazine commenced publication in 1897 and is still the foremost magazine today. Each weekly issue contains an illustrated main article on a country house / historical building. The early issues contain a fascinating record of the design, decor and furniture, building alterations and gardens over the past 120 years including the history of many of England's lost Country Houses. We supply you with the original issue beginning with the portrait frontispiece and including the main feature of the house listed. Stocks are limited but we will be cataloging and listing further issues regularly.
