The Old Hall, Heath, the Residence of Mr Gilbert Tennant

An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated July 20th 1907 featuring a main article on Heath Old Hall, near Wakefield in Yorkshire, containing a seven page comprehensive write up with many black and white illustrations of the exterior and interior of the old hall. One of England's lost country houses, Heath Old Hall was demolished in 1961 afer mining subsidence. This issue holds an important historical record of the building. The issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Lady Beatrix Wilkinson and her Daughter.
