Hitchin Priory (Part 2)

An original very early issue of Country Life Magazine dated October 24th 1925 featuring a main article on Hitchin Priory in Hertfordshire (2), an 8 page write up with black and white illustrations of the Priory and interior. Country Life Magazine commenced publication in 1897 and these early issues have become highly collectable and a valuable reference to the house owners of today, architects, restorers, renovators and anyone interested in the history of the building. They have an extensive write up with pictures of the building (interior and exterior) and garden as it was at that time. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of H.R.H. The Prince of Wales in South Africa.
