An original very early issue of Country Life dated November 8th 1902 featuring a main article on Smithills Hall in Lancashire,The Seat of Col.Richard H Ainsworth. With an eight page write up with black and white illustrations of the exterior of the house and gardens and the interior of the dining room. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of The Countess of Carnarvon.
