Dawpool, Thurstaston, The Residence of Sir Herbert Roberts, Bt. M.P

Original issue of Country Life magazine dated February 18th 1911 featuring a main article on Dawpool at Thurstaston in Cheshire, the residence of Sir Herbert Roberts, Bt, M.P. A Tudor style house designed by the Architect Richard Norman Shaw for Thomas Henry Ismay between 1882 and 1886. Contains a six page write up with black and white photograph illustrations of the house, (exterior and interior). Dawpool was demolished in 1927. This issue is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of The Countess Fitzwilliam.
