The Great House, Burford, The Home of Mr. William Piercy

An original early issue of Country Life Magazine dated September 21st 1945 featuring a main article on The Great House, Burford in Oxfordshire, The Home of Mr. William Piercy, built by a Burford mason, possibly Christopher Kempster about 1690, a four page write up with black and white illustrations of the house and interior. This issue is in very good condition, with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Mrs. John Phipps.
