Original issue of Country Life magazine for February 25th 1939 featuring a main article on 15 Kensington Palace Gardens, London, its redecoration for Sir Alfred Beit, Bt., MP.  One of the largest houses on the east side of Kensington Palace Gardens, designed by the architect James Thomas Knowles. A five page write up containing colour (from a Dufaycolor transparency) and black and white photograph illustrations of the house exterior, interior, decor and furnishings (including images of the Oval Dining Room, Music Room, the Drawing Room and designs by Rex Whistler. This magazine is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Miss Denise Godefroi.
