An original early issue of Country Life magazine dated March 25th 1939 featuring a main illustrated article on West Horsley Place in Surrey (Part 1), a significantly important medieval timber-framed building, the Seat of the Marquess of Crewe. Containing a five page write up with black and white illustrations of the house (exterior, interior and gardens). This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Miss Mary Gloria Congreve.
