An original early issue of Country Life magazine dated April 1st 1939 featuring a main illustrated article on West Horsley Place in Surrey (Part 2), a significantly important medieval timber-framed building. This issue containing a five page write up with black and white illustrations mainly covering the interior and decor of West Horsley. This magazine is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Lady Rosemary Eliot.
