An original issue of Country Life magazine dated August 19th 1939 featuring a main article on Courteenhall in Northamptonshire (Part 2), a house designed by the architect Samuel Saxon and built by Sir William Wake between 1791 and 1793, with Humphrey Repton as Landscape adviser.  A five page write up containing black and white photograph illustrations showing the interior and furnishings of the house (the previous issue (Part 1) covering the exterior). This magazine is in good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Miss Joan Mary Webster.
