Country Life Magazine dated September 28th 1929 featuring a main article on Abingdon (Part-2), The Old Almshouses in the Town, seven page write up including black and white photographic illustrations of the Almshouses including: Christ's hospital: The Long Alley Almshouse, The Brick Alley Almshouse, Twitty's Almshouse and Tomkins' Almshouse in Ock Street. This issue is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of David, Richard, Patrick, Barbara and Ann Crichton.
