An original war-time issue of Country Life magazine dated February 10th 1940 featuring a main illustrated article on Ridgemead, Englefield Green in Surrey (Part 1) The Home of Captain Woolf Barnato. A house completed in 1938 from designs by Robert Lutyens, Son of Edwin Lutyens. Containing a five page write up with black and white illustrations of the exterior, gardens, grounds and including a site plan of the house. This issue is in good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Countess Raczynska.
