An original war-time issue of Country Life magazine dated June 8th 1940 featuring a main article on Muncaster Castle (Part-1) in Cumberland, The home of Sir John Ramsden BT. Muncaster has been the home of the Penningtons since the 12th Century. A five page write up containing black and white illustrations of the Castle exterior, surroundings and a rough diagrammatic plan. This issue is in good condition with a portrait frontispiece of His Majesty the King.
