Bentley Wood, (Part 2), Designed for himself by Mr Serge Chermayeff, F.R.I.B.A

Original rare war-time issue of Country Life magazine for November 2nd 1940 featuring a main article titled 'A Modern Country House - Bentley Wood, Near Halland in Sussex' (Part 2), a home designed for himself by the Rusian born Architect Mr Serge Chermayeff. Contains a four page write up including black and white illustrations of the interior, furnishings and fittings and includes first and ground floor plans. This magazine is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Miss Shirley Osborne.
