Swakeleys, London, The Residence of Mr Arthur N. Gilbey

An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated October 16th 1909 featuring a main article on Swakeleys in Middlesex, the Residence of Mr Arthur Gilbey. A comprehensive seven page write up on the Jacobean Manor of Swakeleys in London with black and white illustrations of the property (interior and exterior) and gardens. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Miss Millicent Grosvenor.
