Oulton Park, The Seat of Sir Phillip Grey-Egerton, Bart

An original early issue of Country Life magazine dated May 30th 1908 featuring a main article on Oulton Park in Cheshire, The Seat of Sir Phillip Grey-Egerton. A seven page write up on the history of Oulton Park, believed to have been built by Sir John Vanbrugh. Sadly the house was destroyed by fire in 1926. The grounds are now a motor racing track. This article contains black and white photograph illustrations of the house and gardens at the time of publication, including interior views of the Dining room and the Entrance hall. The magazine is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of The Hon. Mrs Maurice Wingfield.
