Steane Park (The Chapel), Formerly the Seat of The Crewe Family

Rare original issue of Country Life magazine dated July 2nd 1938 featuring a main article on The Chapel at Steane Park in Northamptonshire, formerly the Seat of The Crewe Family and once the Home of Sir Thomas Crewe, Speaker of the house of commons who rebuilt the Chapel in 1620. This issue contains a five page write up with black and white illustrations of the chapel in the grounds and architectural details of the interior and exterior. This magazine is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of The Rt, Hon W. S. Morrison, M.C, K.C, M.P, The Minister of Agriculture.
