An original war-time issue of Country Life magazine dated February 17th 1940 featuring a main illustrated article on Ridgemead, Englefield Green in Surrey (Part 2 of 2) The Home of Captain Woolf Barnato. A house completed in 1938 from designs by Robert Lutyens. This issue containing a five page write up with black and white illustrations of the interior of Ridgemead and including a ground floor plan of the house. This issue is in good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Lady Greenwell.
