Bourton House (Part 1), The Residence of Miss Ada Theodosia Bligh

An original war-time issue of Country Life magazine dated March 23rd 1940 featuring a main article on Bourton House in Gloucestershire (Part 1). Built by the son of Sir Francis Popham in the early eighteeth century. With a four page write up containing black and white illustrations of the village, Bourton House, Richard Palmer's great barn and the stables.  This issue is in good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Her Excellency Donna Vittorina Bastianni.
