Original rare war-time issue of Country Life magazine for May 10th 1941 featuring a main article on Kelvedon Hall in Essex, (Part 2) The Country Home of Mr Henry Channon, M.P. 'Built by John Wright in 1742'. This issue contains a five page write up including black and white photograph illustrations of the exterior and interior of Kelvedon, with views of the Rococo plaster and ironwork on the staircase, Drawing Room, Dining Room, decor and furnishings. This magazine is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Her Majesty The Queen (A new portrait by Gerald Kelly, R.A., exhibited at the Royal Academy.
