A collection of loose lithographed views of Longleat in Wiltshire. Six Fine tinted lithographs depicting Longleat in Wiltshire, Sketched by Mrs R. R. Pocock and Lithographed by A. Pocock. Published by G. Davey about 1840. The six plates are depicting Porters Lodge leading from Horningsham, The Garden Front of Longleat House, The Grand Entrance Hall, A View from Heavens Gate, Sheerwater Lake and Boat House and Horningsham Church and Village. This large fine lithographs are in good condition, some slight tears to edges but good margins and titled below with coat of arms. Together with four pages of original text describing the house, the hall, heavens gate and sheerwater lake. The plates are loose but in the original green cloth boards with gilt title to upper cover (worn and faded). Size of lithographs 41 x 53cm approx. Scarce.
