An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated August 3rd 1901 featuring a main article on Compton Wynyates in Warwickshire. 8 page write up with black and white illustrations of the property and gardens. Country Life magazine commenced publication in 1897 and these early issues have become highly collectable and a valuable reference to the house owners of today, architects, restorers, renovators and historians.  This magazine has an extensive write up with pictures of the building (interior and exterior) and garden as it was over 120 years ago. This issue is in good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of the Duchess of Buccleuch.
