Easton Lodge, the Seat of the Countess of Warwick

An original issue of Country Life magazine dated November 23rd 1907 featuring a main article on Easton Lodge in Essex, with an eleven page write up with many black and white illustrations of the property and gardens designed by Mr Harold Peto for the Countess of Warwick from 1902 onwards. Country Life magazine commenced publication in 1897 and the early issues have become a valuable reference to the house owners of today, architects, restorers, collectors and historians, they hold an important historical record of the buildings and gardens at the time of publication. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Lady Lettice Cholmondeley.
