Pierrefonds Chateau (Part 1)

An original very early issue of Country Life Magazine dated January 16th 1909 featuring a main article on Pierrefonts in France (Part 1) Monument Historique de France. Nine page write up with black and white illustrations of the Castles' exterior, stoneworks and masonary.  This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Lady Violet Elliot.
