Original issue of Country Life magazine dated April 29th 1939 featuring a main article on Bickleigh Castle (Part 2) in Devon, The Residence of Colonel Jasper Henson. With a five page write up including black and white illustrations of the exterior, interior, gardens and grounds of the the Gate House (which is all that remains of the castle today). This magazine is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Lady Babara Lindsay.
