Original issue of Country Life magazine dated May 27th 1939 featuring a main illustrated article on Glyndebourne in Sussex, the gardens of Mr John Christie's Home and Opera House. Containing a six page write up including black and white illustrations of the house exterior, the theatre and the gardens. This magazine is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Miss Cressida Bonham-Carter.
