Courteenhall (Part 1), The Seat of Major-General Sir Hereward Wake, Bt.

An original issue of Country Life magazine dated August 12th 1939 featuring a main article on Courteenhall in Northamptonshire (Part 1), designed by Samuel Saxon and built by Sir William Wake between 1791 and 1793.  A five page write up containing black and white photograph illustrations showing the exterior and grounds of the house. This issue is in good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Lady Mary Herbert with her Son Robin.
