Croxdale Hall (Part 2), The Seat of Lt. Col. H. C. J. Salvin

An original issue of Country Life magazine dated September 2nd 1939 featuring a main article on Croxdale Hall in Durham (Part 2). Croxdale was reconstructed by William Salvin in about 1760,  it has been the home of the Salvin Family since 1402. A five page write up containing black and white photograph illustrations showing the exterior and interior of the house and the chapel. This magazine is in good condition with a portrait frontispiece of the Right Hon. Viscount Halifax, K,G.
