Original rare war-time issue of Country Life magazine for October 26th 1940 featuring a main article titled 'A Modern Country House - Bentley Wood, Near Halland in Sussex' (Part 1), a home designed for himself by Mr Serge Chermayeff. Contains a four page write up including black and white illustrations of the exterior, interior and gardens. This magazine is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Miss Elspeth Ironside.
