Paultons in Romsey, The Seat of Major R.C.H. Sloane-Stanley

Country Life magazine dated September 17th 1938 featuring a main article on Paultons, Romsey in Hampshire. The Seat of Major R. C. H. Sloane-Stanley. Paultons was remodelled in 1805 by Kent of Southampton and the Estate Parkland was designed by Capibility Brown. The House was destroyed by fire in 1963. This issue contains a six page write up on the history of Paultons Park with black and white photograph illustrations of the house (interior, exterior, furnishings and decor). This issue is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Miss Elms Neale.
