Kitley, The Seat of Colonel Reginald Bastard, D.S.O

An original issue of Country Life magazine for October 7th 1939 featuring a main article on Kitley in Devon, designed by G. S. Repton in about 1820 on the Yealm estuary. This issue contains a five page write up on the history of Kitley and includes black and white photographic illustrations of the house and park, the interior including The Library, The Staircase and the Dining Room. The magazine is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of The Hon. Mrs Randolph Churchill.
