Broadlands at Ascot, the Residence of Mr F. C. Minoprio

An original early issue of Country Life Magazine dated November 10th 1934 featuring a main article on Broadlands at Ascot in Berkshire, a modern house (1930's) designed by Anthony Minoprio and Hugh Spencely, built to replace a brick and half timber house designed by Norman Shaw, this issue contains a five page write up with black and white illustrations of the modern country house, the grounds, interior, fixtures, decoration and plans, also showing the old house that it replaced. This magazine is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Miss Dorothy Chamberlain. Rare.
