Dacre Castle, the Property of Major E. W. Hasell

Original issue of Country Life magazine dated March 30th 1929 featuring a main article on Dacre Castle, Near Penrith in Cumbria. The Property of Major E. W. Hassell, containing an eight page write up including black and white photograph illustrations of the castle exterior, grounds, turrets and battlements, the interior and stone work, etc. This magazine is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Marshall Foch (from a painting by Sir William Orpen).
