A very scarce original antique engraved print illustrating a birdseye view of Ingestre Hall in Staffordshire, the Seat of Sir Walter Chetwynd. Published in 1686 for Robert Plot's antiquarian volume covering the history of Staffordshire. Engraved by Michael Burghers, titled and with coat of arms above. Michael Burghers (c. 1653-1727) was a Dutch line engraver born in Amsterdam and lived in Oxford, England from 1673. He was commissioned by the aristocracy to creat estate plans, illustrations of country houses and maps.
