Bourton House (Part 2), The Residence of Miss Ada Theodosia Bligh

An original war-time issue of Country Life magazine dated March 30th 1940 featuring a main article on Bourton House in Gloucestershire (Part 2). Built by the son of Sir Francis Popham. With a five page write up containing black and white illustrations of the house, exterior, interior, furnishings and paintings. This issue is in good condition (there is a page missing from the magazine but not from the main article on Bourton House) with a portrait frontispiece of the Countess of Hardwicke with her children.
