Brook House, Brook Street. The Residence of Lord and Lady Louis Mountbatten

An original issue of Country Life magazine dated June 24th 1939 featuring a main article on Brook House, Brook Street in Park Lane, London. Previously the residence of Lord and Lady Louis Mountbatten. A five page write up containing black and white photograph illustrations showing the exterior, interior and veranda of the two-storey house occupying the top floor of a block of flats in Park Lane. Features rare illustrations of Rex Whister's decoration in Lady Louis' Boudoir. Plans of the Lower and Upper Floors designed by the Architect's Wimperis, Simpson and Guthrie. This issue is in good condition with a frontispiece of the King and Queen in British Columbia.
