Drakelowe Hall, The Seat of Sir Robert Gresley, Bart

An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated March 16th 1907 featuring a main article on Drakelowe Hall in Derbyshire, the Seat of Sir Robert Gresley, Bart. Drakelowe Hall is one of England's lost country houses, this seven page illustrated article shows the interior of the house including the entance hall, lobby, painted dining room and the tapestry room as it was in 1907. The Hall was demolished in 1934. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of The Duchess of Sutherland.
