An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated June 7th 1919 featuring a main article on Hamilton Palace in Lanarkshire, Scotland, with a ten page write up on the history of the palace with black and white photograph illustrations of the building interior and exterior. Also featuring a two page illustrated article on The Old House at Purley, an essay on Tudor buildings by Mr J. Leonard Williams. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Lady Diana Cooper.
