Holland House, the Seat of The Earl of Ilchester
An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated February 28th 1903 featuring a main article on Holland house in Kensington, London. Containing a nine page write up on the history of Holland House with black and white photograph illustrations of the property and gardens. This issue shows the property in Holland Park owned by the Earl of Ilchester as it was before it was destroyed by bombing during the Second world war in 1940. This issue is in good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Lady Moyra Cavendish.
