An original very early issue of Country Life Magazine dated February 11th 1928 featuring a main article on La Mortola at Ventimiglia in Italy, The Property of Mr Cecil Hanbury, containing an eight page write up on the history of the famous garden founded by Sir Thomas Hanbury written by Cecil Hanbury, with black and white photograph illustrations of the house and gardens throughout.  This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Mrs Simon Elwes.
