An original early issue of Country Life magazine dated October 23rd 1937 featuring a main article on Malcontenta in Venice (Part 2), The Residence of Mr. A. C. Landsberg. A villa designed by Palladio in about 1555 for the Foscari family. Contains a six page write up with black and white photograph illustrations of the interior and decor of the villa including details of the frescoes by Veronese, Zelotti and Battista Franco. This issue is in very good condition with a portrait frontpiece of The Countess of Radnor.
