Norfolk House, St James's Square, The Town House of the Duke of Norfolk

An original early issue of Country Life magazine dated December 25th 1937 featuring a main article on Norfolk House, St. James's Square, London. The Town House of The Duke of Norfolk. Built in 1748-1752 from designs by Matthew Brettingham. A seven page write up with black and white photograph illustrations of the interior and decor of the house including details of the rich Rococo decoration throughout. This issue is in very good condition with frontpiece of Miss Doreen Jowett.
