Oare House, The Property of Mr. Geoffrey Fry.

An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated March 10th 1928 featuring a main article on Oare House in Wiltshire, The Property of Mr. Geoffrey Fry, with an eight page write up with many black and white illustrations of the house exterior, grounds, interior, decor and a plan of the ground floor. Also featuring an article titled 'For the Connoisseur' The original Carlisle House, Soho, London with images of the house restored by Messrs. Keeble, views of the interior and furnishings and written by Ronald Fleming. This issue is in very good condition complete with full covers and house adverts, with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Lady Jean Crichton-Stuart.
