Old Place of Mochrum, Galloway, The Seat of the Marquess of Bute

An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated August 3rd 1912 featuring a main article on Old Place of Mockrum, Galloway in Scotland. A six page article with black and white photograph illustrations of the 15th and 16th century architecture of the two tower houses, interiors, furnishings and plans. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of The Countess of Ancaster.
