An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated March 18th 1899 featuring a main article on Penshurst Place at Tonbridge in Kent, containing a four page write up on the history of Penshurst with black and white illustrations of the property and gardens. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Mrs Hugh Peel.
