Plympton House, The Property of Dr J. C. Nixon

An early original issue of Country Life magazine dated August 12th 1933 featuring a main article on Plympton House in Devon, with a six page write up on the house built for Sir George Treby, Ca. 1700 and completed by his son in 1720. Contains black and white photograph illustrations of the exterior, interior, decoration, details of the dairy tiles, staircases, furnishings and fireplaces. This issue is in very good condition with a frontispiece titled 'Home from the childrens links at North Berwick'.
