An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated September 13th 1919 featuring an article on Synyards at Otham in Kent and its restoration by Mr Phillip M. Johnston'. This issue contains a three page write up with many black and white illustrations and plans of the restoration works carried out by Philip Mainwaring Johnston. The magazine is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of The Duchess of Sutherland.
