The Holme (Holme House), Regent's Park, The Residence of Mrs James Pleydell-Bouverie

An original issue of Country Life magazine dated for October 28th 1939 featuring a main illutrated article on Holme House (The Holme), a Lodge in Regent's Park, London. The Residence of Mrs James Pleydell-Bouverie. Designed by Decimus Burton and built by his father, James Burton in 1818.  This issue contains a five page write up including black and white photograph illustrations of the exterior and gardens of The Holme as it was at the time of publication in 1939. The magazine is in good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Miss Everand and Lord Newtown Butler, at Ratcliffe Hall, Leicestershire.
