The Old House, Aspley Guise, and its renovation by Mr. Cowlishaw

Original issue of Country Life magazine dated March 15th 1913 featuring an article 'the Lesser Country Houses of Today', on The Old House, Aspley Guise in Bedfordshire. A Grade II listed house, with its tudor features still visable, Ca. 1545, the house was later modernised with its renovations by Mr. Cowlishaw. A three page write up including black and white illustrations of the house interior, exterior and plan of the ground floor. This magazine is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Lady Joan Byng.
